Es un tiempo que con justicia fue llamado Siglo de Oro.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cuatrocientos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s se ha conformado un Nuevo Siglo de Oro, cuyos extremos simb\u00f3licos son 1914 \u2013el a\u00f1o de nacimiento de Julio Cort\u00e1zar, Adolfo Bioy Casares, Nicanor Parra, Octavio Paz, Efra\u00edn Huerta y Jos\u00e9 Revueltas\u2013 y 2014, el a\u00f1o de la muerte de Juan Gelman, Jos\u00e9 Emilio Pacheco y Gabriel Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez. Simb\u00f3licamente se ha cerrado una \u00e9poca, la del gran esplendor de todas las variedades del espa\u00f1ol hablado en las rep\u00fablicas hispanoamericanas. El Dorado se encuentra en las p\u00e1ginas universales de los autores hispanoamericanos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Para rendir homenaje al siglo \u00e1ureo de Machado, Gorostiza, Mistral, Neruda, Huidobro, Garc\u00eda Lorca, Hern\u00e1ndez, Alberti, Aleixandre, Borges, Vallejo, Paz, Cort\u00e1zar, Onetti, Garro, Carpentier, Vargas Llosa, Fuentes, Arreola, Lezama, Cardenal, Bola\u00f1o y de otros tantos, el Encuentro Internacional de Poes\u00eda Ciudad de M\u00e9xico ofrece un reconocimiento, desde la lengua espa\u00f1ola, a un poeta significativo del mundo. Es el Premio de Poes\u00eda Nuevo Siglo de Oro con que nuestro idioma y nuestra poes\u00eda tiende puentes de conocimiento y encuentro con otros idiomas y otras literaturas.<\/span>
